I put the small remote on my key chain and put the big remote in the glove box.

I found it to be very convenient when cutting trees down. I could use the winch to pull the tree in the direction I wanted but I could operate the winch with the remote. That allowed me to. Cut the tree a little and then pull, I could cut and pull a little at a time to be careful.

Yes, there is a fob. You wont regret buying it. Very convenient.
