Built a trailer for my pioneer and my tractor. Used some atv tires and rims for a little more flotation in the snow. Hopeing to use it to haul a little firewood.

Nice! I have been busy lately but a tandem axle off-road trailer is on my list of things to build. Trying to figure a way to make it power dump.

Can you share some better pictures to the thread so we can see your design better?

Elk, that is sweet.
Are the axles articulating?
Some of the trailers like this can get expensive. I thought about looking for a 4ft trailer to pull behind and putting a set of floaters on it. I still may add that to my list in the future.
Nice work.

Yes the axles are articulating they pivot on a center bearing. The sides are stake pocket design and are all removable. My size and design was limited to the scrap steel I had on hand. Ohanacreek I will try to take some better pics in the next day or two.

Elk, I commend your efforts. You have done a great job on this trailer. I like the duel axle setup. Nice.

Took a few more pics of my axel design. Frame is made out of 1/8" 2x2 tubing. Sides are all removable in case I need a flatbed or I can leave the sides on and remove the ends and put 8' logs on it with a foot sticking out each end. Inside dimensions are 36"x6'.Outside of tires are 5',the same width as both my tractor and pioneer.

Thanks elk cleared up what I guessed you'd done from the first pics. Simple and effective.
