P1000m5 Popping and/or a banging noise while driving 1000-5 2017 honda

I've had two different mech look at my 2017 Honda 1000-5 machine and they said all Honda's make this sound. It makes a popping sound in forward gears. I'm a shade tree mech, but think there is a problem. I don't feel any vibration when it makes this noise. Any suggestions or similar advice?
