Does the p1000 shocks ride better than your stock? Once you get them installed let us know! Also did you get 3 inches of lift?

I don't own a 700 anymore, i did do the Commander shocks on mine when i still had it. It was the second best thing i did to it. Power steering was #1.I'm going to try this on a buddies 700-4. I still have not found anyone that has done this swap. I

Got ya. Does your 1000 ride better than your stock 700? If I could find a cheaper seat of 1000 shocks I'd test it out and write up a review.

I havnt done a whole lot of research on the self leveling shocks but how do they work ? It seems like the # would be to stiff for the 700.

Really well on the 1000 actually seeing how it squats with the Fox that aren’t self leveling it makes a difference.

Weight should be PERFECT if you have a winch and other accessories to add near the @200lbs standard weight difference.

Me and a friend both have 1000s and upgraded our shocks. So with 4 front shock laying around decided to see how they would do on my brother in laws 700. Like stated the rears went on with no modification. The fronts however we had to grind down the bushing to fit into the front mounts and with a set of spacers from RB3 everything went right together.
Also got a set of RB3 Wheel spacers to run the 1000s wheels. The setup seems great can't give any good feedback on performance yet but hopefully soon!

The rears off the 1000s are to big in circumference to fit the 700.

So someone would need 4 front shocks for this mod?

How much lift did you get front and back? Also how was the ride compared to stock ?

3 inch lift in back.
3 inch lift in front. The front had spacers from SATVs 3" lift kit.
Took the spacers out before ever testing. Didn't like the spacers, they had the front end standing to tall for us.
I took those measurements on stock wheel and tire setup. Then I took the spacers out after I put the 1000s wheel/tires on. It dropped 1" in the front after the spacers came out but it looks better!
Haven't got to get it out for a real test. That should change next weekend.

What if you swap put rear shocks on the front front on the rear I don’t want to buy the whole set and be stuck with two shocks I can’t use

I never really thought to check that configuration. I'd have to do measuring to answer that.
