Just wondering if anyone with a Silber or Morris tune can give some input on satisfaction now that we are well into riding season. I’m primarily interested in cooling the engine off. Keeping the engine and exhaust stock. Thanks, Jay.

So with just a PV3, and no tune, what exactly are you doing to improve cooling?Just the PV3 is a huge improvement in cooling. You can also use to dynojet software to improve when the fan comes on among countless other parameters.

OK great. That is for the info. I think I’ll go this way instead of Silber or Morris. At least the PV3 gives the option of using Morris at a later date.
Dynojet provides the PV3 with a tune for the Pioneer with a bit more fuel and a more aggressive shift map. They also provide the software to make changes beyond that.
I have been thinking about the PV3 as my next upgrade too.
looking at the dynojet website i see they now have 3 tunes available where before i think it was just 1.
@ToddACimer have you been able to try the 3 they have?
no real descriptions on the website of what they are

thanks for the info. i was hoping they had a few different setups...The 3 tunes are for different ECUs. Only 1 will work on any given machine. Not sure if it's year specific or model specific (base, deluxe, LE)
I ordered one off Amazon last week; should be here today or tomorrow. Said there were 5 in stock when I bought mine.thanks for the info. i was hoping they had a few different setups...
PV3s are out of stock on the Dynojet website. im going to call them and see when they expect them back
thanks for the helpI ordered one off Amazon last week; should be here today or tomorrow.
Yeah, I went through the same thing. I ended up just using the PV3-16-12 product code from DynoJet on Amazon to find it. Was really glad I found it on Amazon since I had $75 in credit sitting there.thanks for the help
i searched amazon before and it didnt come up.
if you search "power vision 3 honda pioneer" it doesnt find it
but it works if you search "pv3 honda pioneer"
wtf
thanks for the additional info.I have PV3 along with Silber, Morris and Hess tunes. Silber in my opinion was total waste of money. 100% satisfied with my 87 octane tune from Morris and have a 93 tune coming this week. It will be a better test against the Hess tune. Tuning makes way more difference than I ever thought possible. The stock PV3 tune to me was just like the Silber tune, probably is the exact thing Silber sells as a custom tune.
thanks for the additional info.
no money lost just getting the PV3 right?
im assuming that the Morris/Hess tunes are just files they sell you to load w the PV3 right?
Thanks for all the reply’s. I’m primarily looking to cool the motor off and cool my butt off. I have plenty of power as is. I’m Turning 27” Pitbulls so big rubber is not there. I have the DEI heat shield installed which helps. I want it cooler.Yes once you have the PV3 it’s all about the tune. If only doing it for cooler temps definitely just get PV3 and try they installed tune. If you want performance then choose Hess or Morris tune that suits you
I agree. But I think there are hidden options we need to find.i think i am going to use the PV3 tune at first and figure out how to tune it myself and see how it goes.
cant be that hard... 🤔
no doubt. we wont get through it quickly but no doubt we should be able to get some improvement.I agree. But I think there are hidden options we need to find.
