Within the first hour of riding my 1000-5, a tree branch ripped the rear side mesh, so I removed both rear side meshes.
My first issue, is that the rear seat belts now dangle because the mesh has a hook on an elastic band to secure its male belt clip.
Anyone found a solution (e.g. a 3D printed female clip attached to the belt container..... any thoughts?

I just hung them on the plastic hook on the seat belt mechanism cover and zip tied them there. Mine very rarely get used though

Welcome from Michigan.
Yeah just hook them on the seatbelt plastic a zip tie them.

So, 2 posts and we have some issues,
1 we need a state not a zip code for location.
2 no info on this 1000-5, year, Color, miles?
Oh hell will just skip to #4 do an intro thread and pics of your rig, Pics Or It Didnt Happen!

Like @WagginTail said, there is a hook on the plastic cover for the retractor, that's where they should hang

Agree, I've had mine hooked up there without zip ties and they have never come off, although I haven't had mine on the roof.
