Just did this today. I thought it would be harder to get out based on what others had said, but I used a floor jack and got the back wheels a foot off the ground before removing them. At that height it came out very easy with very little maneuvering. I can see if the rear end was little lower it could have been a PITA, but if you jack the machine way up, its probably easier to remove whole than cutting it.
