There isn't anybody "checking permits" every time you go out, but they may check at some of the busier trails and near the interstate. That being said I've been twice and have never seen any sort of trooper/wildlife & fisheries out. Saw a couple local PD when I went to get gas once but they just waved.

@BigOL3 and I will be there late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning. I plan to hit up West 75/Dragon's Back early Thursday if any of you all are interested. It'll be an early departure, probably 7:30-8'ish as I plan on being back at the truck around noon.

Im not sure how it works is someone checking your permits every time you go out?

I've been riding there for 10 years and have never been checked. But I've always had one. Not sure of the penalty if you don't have a permit.

Pretty sure I would buy one. You never know when they're gonna check.

I've been down 20 times in 2 years and have never been stopped. I buy the annual with auto renewal anyways though.

We will be at Eagle Rock Thursday through Sunday as well. We have a large group coming down with us that have never been. With 7 Polaris, 1 KRX and ourselves, our group is pretty full, however I hope to meet you guys at the campgrounds. Possibly each time we tow a Polaris back in. Lol

We got into Caryville around midnight last night. About to grab something to eat and head over to get gas by the Mexican restaurant.

We hope to ride tomorrow if the weather isn’t bad! Would like to meet up with some of you guys somewhere around the interstate, like the Mexican restaurant or Eagle Rock Campground. I don’t get off work until 7am so it will probably be around 9 before we could be there.

Went up dragonsback and down Widowmaker with @BigOL3 . Trail up to dragonsback is in really rough shape with lots of sketchy bypasses. Had a ton of fun though. Now to do it again and head to Tackett and live like hobos for a few days on the mountain.

Just got back from a early dinner at the Mexican restaurant and then went on some of the trails at sandquist. 🤔 FYI, not a good order to do that in 🤣🤣🤣 holly 💩 🤢🥴😂😂

I’m debating right now whether to load up the wheeler tonight and takeoff early tomorrow morning for RRB!! I will be coming down solo if I come and have no where to stay, lol

Dang dude! If I had somewhere for u to crash it'd b no prob. We got what I thought would be a decent size "loft" and it turns out its more like a overpriced studio apt in NY City. I dont even have a extra seat let alone a pull out couch.

Yeah a lil bit. Its nice to not have to load up everytime u want to ride though. But until I get a lol toyhauler or maybe a big group to split one of them prefabs they got this is it
