Well did things differently today. Used the tractor and lifted the Bone Mobile up till it teetered. I went past the balance point just to make sure I was there. I was there! I'm editing the video now. Should be up in a couple of hours. Stay tuned for the number.;)

o_OOk here ya go. My Pioneer will tip at one degree over what the video shows. I tried it several times and it will go over at anything over 47-degrees. When I'd get it to 48 it would start over on it's side and the tractor is the only thing that kept it from going farther. Your Pioneer may tip over a little soon or or a bit after but I'm willing to bet it won't be more than a degree one way or the other. 47-degrees is somewhat of a balancing point, 48 it wants to roll. I'd say when you get up around 45-degrees you better start leaning to the inside boys.;)

Maybe your next test could be after adding some weight in the cab? That will change the angle.

Does anyone make an angle meter we could mount in the cab. We could put a redline at around 45 degrees.

Saw a couple on eBay for jeeps that are electronic but pricey and there is an angle meter for Toyota that is magnetic. Great apps for the phone though. Or Garmin VIRB like Drf showed

Virb doesn't show gauges on live view, have to place it in afterward during editing.

Maybe mine was at 41degrees when I tipped it, it was getting light enough I could almost finish tipping it myself. Someone sitting in it may make it 10degrees less to the side they are sitting on.

@drfubar can you strap the significant other in and redo the test?

The 5 will go over easier. Also I'm positive shocks and tire pressure will add massive difference. I know we've had ours around 45 and seen one over and a couple just under. It would matter on driver sitting inside and what side tipped to as well

Yes of course there are variables as I pointed out. Also speed would probably be a factor.o_O But this at least gives a static demonstration and a starting point. When you get to 40+ degrees you better start paying attention.

@Ragnar406 @Tigermark I knew we could go past 42 degrees. That what the ravine is on long and nasty at rush springs. Haha

You ready for that @Montecresto @my99svt @Tramguage1
