I searched but I couldn't find any threads about roof insulation. I was thinking about installing Noico 80mil sound deadening insulation in the roof of my 700-4. Has anyone done this? I was hoping to reduce some of the cab noise. A decibel meter is about $20 on Amazon and I would do a before and after reading if it hasn't already been done.

Kevin
I experimented with this notion back in 2014 or so, but never implemented it fully. I had a large bungee net on the underside of the roof, and we would store coats and blankets...anything soft and light in it. Did kill sound enough that I think it's worthwhile to try. I'd do some of that acoustic foam like they line sound studios with.
As
@Remington said, it will eventually need to be replaced due to the elements. I wonder if you could maybe glue Velcro sections to the roof and panels and make it easy to remove?
And as mentioned,
@trigger has a solution to stopping the sound long before it reaches the roof, if you don't feel like "rolling your own".
