P500 RotoPax

I was introduced to the RotoPax by another member at this years ride.

They are awesome, well made, the mount is solid aluminum.


These two weigh close to 35lbs with all the tools and recovery gear I have stuffed in them.

That swing away bumper is sweet!!!
Did you make that yourself or was it purchased? if purchased, from where? That is exactly what I have been looking for, not handy enough to whip up something like that myself tho!

Amazon has them cheaper than the rotopax site.

I think the ones on Amazon are also sold by RotoPax. They're expensive no matter where you find them.
Keep in mind that they sell blemished ones as well for less. Read reviews and it doesn't sound like they're all jacked up or anything.
I only bought a 1 gallon but if I were going larger and multiple cans I'd seriously consider blems.

Made it myself it was HEAVY probably 200lbs with tire and both full rotopax. But it had to be the joints on the uprights kept cracking I had to go up on metal gauge to reduce flex and be able to get a better weld and even then had to gusset the uprights.

Wow 200 lbs.! Are you making something similar for your 1000?

Tire/wheel was around 50, Jack was 10, tool kits were around 25each, and carrier itself was 3/16" wall steel

It was heavy

Not sure yet.
