We said goodbye to Shasta (Sugar Britches as Christine called her) today. We've made the decision to let her go as we've done with so many before her. It doesn't get easier, in fact I believe it gets harder each time. It was the best thing for her and we knew that. I buried her next to Rusty on top of Mary's Ridge where she can look out onto the cove. She was our best friend and we couldn't have found a better boxer. She's running again with Rusty chasing squirrels around the trees in heaven. We were privileged to have had her with us for the past 10yrs. We will see you again someday old girl.
