Inreach varies plans are on their page, I use it for emergency and then upgrade for long rides, I’ve let other folks use it when we were overnighting out of CELL coverage.
Iridium varies by provider, sometimes you can get a phone out of deal.
As much time as I’ve been spending in areas without service and easy ways to call for help, I’m waiting on a good deal to show up on a basic phone, I’ll be in the market to get rid of the inreach at that point. I don’t use it for normal communication just emergency and updates with the fam when out of reach.
