P700 Sheared diff plug

I sheared the front diff drain plug on my p700...looks too close to the frame to use an easy out... might have to pull front diff. Has anyone done this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thx

Drill it with a left-hand drill. If it doesn't come out use an extension on the easy out.

Just doing some yearly maintenance on my portals and had extra gear lube so i went to pull the diff plug and it sheared with almost no pressure on the ratchet...not sure if it got over tightened when i had the honda shop do my previous maintenance? I outta town but ill post a pic soon

Might be able to make an extension work

Remove the dif bolts and move it up a little. Only use a left hand drill or you may screw the bolt into the dif.

Done! I dimpled the bolt with an awl and unthreaded it with an easy out by hand. I totally over thought this without trying the simple solution first🤣...is it beer:30 yet?
