P1000 Shift pattern indicators on dash

Hi all, I own a 2016 P1K5 Deluxe and I’ve seen several photos on this site of the shift pattern indicators on the dash highlighted in “White”. Can anyone tell me if this is an overlay, a panel update or just someone really good with a fine point paint brush? I’d like to make mine like that for ease of sight. Also I’ve recently had the clutch update, the cabin comfort update done at my dealer and the air box fix which I did at home. Dealer was great in taking care of these, very quick turnaround and out the door. The clutch update definitely smoothed things out, verdict not in yet on the heat fix as still pretty cool outside here in North Idaho.

I used some white nail polish. I liked the way it went on coverage wise and that it hardens. Ben on a few years so far and no problems.

That sounds better, the paint pen I have is pretty thin coating. I’ll check out the nail polish. Might be to shaky to apply with that little brush though. Thanks again for the tip.

Along the same lines here too. Didn’t light up the 4wd selectors but did light up shift gate which was very useful for many. It was nice to see in the dark But probably won’t go quite so far this trip!

Along the same lines here too. Didn’t light up the 4wd selectors but did light up shift gate which was very useful for many. It was nice to see in the dark But probably won’t go quite so far this trip!

Ya lotta man hours and planning on the last few machines. Lot of one off stuff that hadn’t been done in Sxs so it was painful at times. Seems less important now, we’ve went from one of the most heavily modified machines to base as hell overnight several times, just want to enjoy riding now. I’ll get the most important stuff and a few toys back in soon.

Not bad at all just pull the stocks out and cut the hole a little larger. Tie into headlight switch or separate switch and done.
