Yeah, planning to ride for a while then find a place to post up for the night then load up and do it again the next night; basically a light overland trip. I may go even if it's going to rain just so I can see how my gear fares in the weather. The rain chance went from 80% to 50% so it's looking better.
Did you make that trip @Adam490 ? I spoke with a fella today that was working on a Jeep for rock crawling, in Denham Springs. I asked him where he went and he said Sicily Island. I told him of our plans to try it riding SxS and he filled me in. Said it is only a couple hundred acres with only a couple of main trails. The main action is climbing the hills off the sides of the trails. He said it would only probably take an hour to cover the trails with a Pioneer.
Good to know; I figured it was on the smaller side. We didn't go due to the weather. Might try to make a trip up there during the week to check it out.
Not sure yet, if I'm going to drive out there and spend $50 I'd like to at least stay the night and ride some the next day as well.
It was close, I was trying to wedge the rear into the other wall to hold it but it was just sliding. We went up that hill probably 7-8 times with no issue after that. @Jm_obrien had a hell of time the first run at it because he drives like a sissy! We had a great time out there. I've got some more video I'm working through now.
