would like to ride with people that's been in a sxs before. Wore out on FNGs in rental sxs guiding

This sounds like an opportunity, if I do somthing dumb i can say I ment to do to annoy @JACKAL.
Sound like we just need to set up our own ride.
Now, how do we spin "too fat, old and lazy to overland" to sound like a positive?

We say we have earned "seniority" to forgo sleeping in a manner susceptible to being snake & bear fodder. In reality I'm just a softy that likes a semi climate controlled soft bed without bugs and elemental interference 😁

Weather looks good for this weekend.
Forecast for Pioneer Tn:

Radio on the way in to work this morning was talking about the whole state flooding and washing away.
Had me wondering about how interested I was in this ride.

Good ride. Total carnage for the weekend with 4 machines- 4 bent or broken tie rods, 2 tires knocked off the rim, 2 brake lines busted, 4 tire side walls cut, 2 broken axles, 10 winch line pulls, minor body damage and a machine on its side 3 different times. We conquered all the easy trails this weekend. Good luck on the harder trails in a few weeks on the overland.

Great ride... We did several black trails and checked out many red trails to guage their difficulty.

What'd you guys do for the busted break lines? Did you have replacements or just crimp them??

Have crimped them in the past. But this time we had replacements.
I think he just had them ran in a bad spot.
I don't think a factory unit would have had an issue.

I seen that my front brake lines were damaged a couple of months ago from bent tie rods and what not. The day before we left I threw my old brake lines in the box just in case. Glad I did or I would have been screwed. The 2nd brake line I busted was coming down that hill from standing stone. The hill i almost did a front flip on and your kids were screaming and crying when you came down during the takeover. It was easy this time because it was dry and I could straddle that rut but the big rock at the bottom broke my tie rod which took out my brake line. Good times lol

I also got lost 3 times. It was like I was the new guy that didn't have a clue. I got to do alot of trails that I haven't been on. Great ride.

No.
This past weekend we did not bypass a black trail without trying it. In fact our first trail was the dragons back and widow maker trail.

For the Oct ride. We will not be on any black trails. And very few red trails.

A good plug kit and a tie rod would be wise to pack.

We are NOT doing the widow maker and dragons back trail on the Oct ride. We just did it because its fun last weekend.
