Snorkel on 2020 Pioneer 1000

I’m considering putting a snorkel on my 2020 Pioneer 1000. I’ve looked at several kits, and nothing is provided for the primary air box elevated behind the front bench. What’s the purpose of snorkeling the secondary air box when it’s approximately the same height as the primary in the back? Any recommendations on how to correct this?

The easy explanation is space. I couldn't find a good way to do it and not cut the bed or worse. I also didn't want that noise behind the lady's head bothering her. Fast and no cutting is to route the air intake up behind the dash with a radiator hose. You can also add a cheap filter to this to extend the oe filter life. I had the under hood deal for a while and found myself in a few spots wondering how close the water was to the intake. I've since cut the hood and did the Joey snorkel as I've seen it called on here. I can tell by the mud line on your machine that pic was from the takeover when Lisa put the mud over the hood.

That's the perfect example. Even then there's still mud splattered inside the snorkel head but none in the tube.

Now thats out of the way…
you dont want to snorkel the back cuz your gonna get $hit in the front and the intake runs like a U from front to back and u want to stop poop from being trapped in the U.

I ended up installing the Super ATV Snorkel Kit. It was pretty easy to install and seems like its a quality kit.
