So I just did a dual battery. A arms. (Highlighter) lift kit also. 2" wheel spacers. Radio. Speakers. An swapped plastics to white. So when it was all apart I also did the electrical contractors in die electric grease. Just the ones under hood. So today I go an ride it an the power steering light came on an I lost like half of my power steering? If u shut it off for 10-15 mins it's fine again til u kinda drive it hard an then it come back on again. An same thing happens. Wtf is the problem? Pisses me off!!!!!!

I don't think the steering stops would have an effect as I had several hundred miles with out them and the same with them.

Sounds like another issue, sorry I can't help.

It sounds like a speed sensor starting to go out. If the steering goes and the speed odometer drops to zero and you are still moving it's probably the speed sensor. Put it in low mt and find a long straight road and drive it with the rpms revved high but not too high and hold it there for about 30 seconds and see if it resets it's self. If it does it's the speed sensor. I know it sounds strange but I have had other sxs that have done the same thing and that is what the mechanic told me to do and it worked. It's just a way to test it and if it resets you will need a new sensor it will be covered under warranty. If the mph doesn't show zero while your driving with out power steering I would just take it to the shop is sure it's a easy fix.

Does it occur with all added accessories off? When installing lift did you stress any steering components? After applying dielectric grease did you ensure plugs went back together effortlessly?

I bought the actual shop manual. It's a pretty thick book.

Check the amount of grease. Die electric grease is an insulator make sure you are getting power.
Hope that it would be easy fix.

EPS might need re-initialized by the dealer. One of the guys one here had an EPS problem and that fixed it.

When I first got mine it had a power steering issue but it wasn't as you describe. Mine would turn very easily one direction but take considerable effort the other. Also, I did not get the warning light. However, my dealer did have to re-initialize the system and it fixed my problem. They said that mine either lost programming or was never setup. So I do know that the power steering system does have an initialization procedure which should be helpful for you.

Yea I think that's what I need. From what the dealer said. Anything I can do it my self? I have the dtc short tool that's in the manual an the manual. I'm getting this code that is (1 long blink. 1 fast blink ) then (1 long blink. 1 fast blink) then (3 fast blinks) . I don't no what that means. I get the long blinks are 10. An short is 1. But I don't get it? So my code is 11-11-3? Doesn't make sense. Dealer can't take it in for the day til 3-4 weeks. Plus I do everything myself. I'd rather them
Not touch my machine. But I was told it was from having the battery unhooked for a week. Text me please if u have any info on her!!!! I want her 100%!!!!!
