Ok so fixing to order a wheel and tire package with mounting online. What I’m doing is getting the same size tire (27x11R-14) on all four corners so I can rotate the tires and have a spare for every corner. I’m also getting 1” rear spacers and matching 14x7 wheels with a 5+2 offset for all four corners. The website I’m ordering from has a drop down selector for wheel location. Do I still need to order two fronts and two rears since I’m getting the same size and offset wheel and same size tire all the way around or can I simply order 4 fronts or 4 rears?

EDIT: Also is the Ride-On Tire Balancer & Sealant With Mounting from Rocky Mountain worth it?

Order 4 of the same. If you order 2 frt. 2 rr they wont be identicle, they will be of dissimilar width an offset because they will assume you are doing a factory replacement, which you are not.

Go 28x10x14 all the way around. And spacer(s).

Yes, front vs rear on web sites (e.g., RockyMountain) mean nothing when ordering exact same wheel size.
I can’t do 28’s because I don’t think they will fit in my garage anymore. It is EXTREMELY close fitting height wise now and I don’t wanna risk it. Will the 11’s be to wide for the front?

Thanks! Does it matter between 4 fronts or 4 rears?

If listed with the same measurements (e.g., 15x7 5+2 FRONT or 15x7 5+2 REAR) they are the EXACT same wheel. Why on earth would you think they would be different? They list diameter, width, and offset/backspacing for a reason.

I would not try to run 11s on front.

Also understand that tire diameter is different between manufacturers for the exact same tire. A 28" tire might only be 27" or 27.5", or it may be 28" or larger. My 30x10-15 Terrabite Aramids are exactly 29" tall mounted on my 15x7 5+2 wheels.

No. See my last 2 responses. Wheel diameter, width and offset/backspacing should be listed. I don't care if it says front, rear, top, bottom, middle, or anything else - if the specs are the same, it's the SAME wheel.

So do I just do the 27x9’s all the way around then?

No. 28x10-14 ... 🤣
I just measured and I have a little less than a 1/4” of an inch clearance into my garage with the factory 27” Armstrong dirt master tires. Idk if 28 will fit. Hate to have to leave the thing outside 24/7.

EDIT: I just measured my 27” factory tires in the back, they have 1900 miles on them but are by no means wore out or really even showing much wear. Anyway they measured what appeared to me to be about 25.” Does that sound right for those old Armstrong dirt master tires? If so and the terrabites measure true to size 28” mounted then no way I’ll be getting in the garage.

My Tertabites measured short.
I always heard that they did back in the day, but thought I saw somewhere in the last couple years they corrected that to have em more true to size? But idk. I may just get the 28x10’s and forget it. Is everything else I need still the same with 28x10’s? 14x7 wheel 5+2 offset and a 1” spacer for the rear, which I ended up getting superatv 1.25”

@AndyC - I have the same garage issue. I'm riding stock right now because I can barely get in under the door (and yes, I've made all of the adjustments and cut metal to do it).
Somewhere on this site I believe I saw that 28x10's add less than 3/8ths to the height. You may want to check that.

Thanks! That would be super close, but maybe doable.

Hate to start a new thread, idk if everyone missed this question or if no one that’s posted so far knows, but is the Ride-On Tire Balancer & Sealant With Mounting from Rocky Mountain worth it or just pass?

If it won't clear, you could always deflate the tires a little. I don't have overhead clearance issues, but I have 28" Big Horn II's on mine with 5+2 wheels all the way around with a 1" @RB3offroad spacer on the rear. The rear are 11" and the front 9".

I've never used it. I have used slime in the past for a slow leak on my former Rhino.

I don’t anticipate any leaks anytime soon as I don’t ride real rocky tough terrain, they told me it was for balance and much more smoother ride on pavement. But idk.
