Rocky Mountain ATV won't verify if the Tusk Terrabites 27x9x12 will fit my stock wheels. I have a 2017 Pioneer 700-4. Do u know?

I have 26x9x12 on the front. Sedona Rip Saw Radial Tires. On my 700 Deluxe aluminum stock wheels..Lots of room, I'm sure 27" would fit fine. The dealer even told me that 27" would be fine. I just went with 26's as to not change the gearing too much from the stock 25" tires.

Never read about anyone having clearance issues with 27's and no lift. Seems clearance issues show up with 28's though so you're right at the limit with 27's.

As for the original post, yes @Brianr117 those tires will fit your stock wheels no problem at all.

I should have been more specific about that. With the lack of a low gear I'm wondering if taller tires put stress on the transmission or anything???

I've also been considering the terrabites on my 17 700-4 deluxe.

Has anyone put the 27x9x12s on all stock aluminum rims. Front rim is 12x6, rear is 12x7.5.

Will this work or will the slight size difference in width change too much on height, etc.

Wish I could just order 2 more rear rims and go 27x11x12 all the way around but the 7.5 rim will not fit in the front without contact.

I have often thought I would like to have the same size all around... but after many miles on mine now I must say that my tires are wearing pretty much evenly....

Pulled the trigger on the terrabites...quick ride. Nice. I'll go beat them in a bit. A5a81d99704ef088f10616fd3011f05a44d82ec8f56f5d4d553c1e77fbd3a12c

That seems so dependent on the load and the terrain your riding in, IMO

Agreed. Better question would be min and max or a good safe range. I can't see running 26psi but I also don't want to fold a tire off a rim.
Thanks

I'm so sorry for my absence on here. I love the terabytes on my machine. They have been great on and off road. I might be able to tell little different in power but very minimal

Ryan, what’s the total width of your machine with your Terrabites? We have a width restriction in Maine of 60”.

Thanks

I've got 27x11x12 and 27x9x12. Around 600 miles and no issues so far. Been through a lot of rock and mud, I feel like if you ride in muddy areas more often than not they may not be the best for you, but we ride mostly hard packed and trails where we can avoid the deep and soupy mud.

Are those on the stock rims, and how do you like them after having them for a bit? Also, how is the ride and did it affect the gearing at all?
