Hey everyone been a long time lurker and think I've read thousands of posts and haven't seen the specific answer I'm looking for. Anyhow I've got a 2019 1000-5 delux and here's my list. I've got the SATV offset arms and Fox QS3 shocks in the mail. I'm looking at 30-10-14 tires and I'm wondering if I need to get new 5+2 rims or if I can mount them to my stock wheels? With 5+2 it seems a 1" spacer in the rear is key but has anyone ran the 30's on stock wheels and what spacers did you need to make the stance even? Pic is of my current wheels. Thanks!

Oh there's your first question!!!😂😂😂

You don't need spacers on the rear of keeping stock wheels but you might rub the cage a when bottoming out. You CAN run the 10" wide tires on stock wheels but the fronts will look different then the rears cause the rear wheels are wider then the fronts. So you'll have more sidewall bulge on the front tires then the rears. Most guys run the same on all four corners along with the rear spacers to even the track.

Here we go again! There are many posts on this and many opinions. If you have the arms and shocks coming with tires, I would pull the pin on the 5+2 rims with 1 inch spacer in rear. This will make all 4 wheels the same. This is what I did. I'm sure you're gonna get a few responses on this one. If you use the search bar you will read for a week on this subject. Good luck.

I’ve been searching and reading for weeks and I’m 95% on the 5+2 wheels and spacer route…. Was just trying to save a few hundred bucks but it sounds like I should just suck it up and spend the money.
Have a trip to the Hatfield McCoy trails in a few weeks so gotta get the ball rolling!

Go with same size wheel and tire all the way around. Buy once cry once.
so much easier when u want a spare and you can rotate them. Remember keeping the stockers the rears are wider and no rotation and you will need a front tire for a spare. If you go the same wheel tire set up all the way around, you will need spacers. Look up RB3 and get there Pioneer wide track bundle.

Hope the weather is cool when u head to H&M cuz you’ll be sweating your bag off with your helmet on just sayin!

Thanks for the replies fellas! Yeah it's a done deal at this point... I'll order the RB3 goods today and hopefully make my mind up between 14" or 15" rims and the ever annoying "What Tire" debacle I'm in! The Tusk Terrabites seem to be high on the list as a damn good all around tire so I may be giving a set of them a go!

Went ahead and pulled the trigger today on the rest of the parts. 30x10-14 Tusk aramid terrabites, Tusk tintic 14x7 5+2 rims and the RB3 pioneer wide track bundle.
Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together and if it rubs in the rear then I'll figure something out from there!

Well the A-arms, fox shocks and tires are on! Still waiting on the RB3 wide track bundle to ship or show up.
Got it all tightened up 30mins before rolling to work for a while so no time on it yet!

I’m sure hoping I like it! Gotta get it aligned and figure out the best tire pressure when I get home then we’re hitting the Hatfield McCoy trails!
