P500 To half windshield or not... that is the question.

You still have that Honda one? I have a full on mine now cuz it is damn cold riding during hunting season and plowing, but it gets pretty hot in the summer without the open airflow. Thinking I might want to run a half in the warm season and switch to full in the cold.

After riding all season I think I will be going without. I like the wind in my face and the branches don't seem to be an issue. Plus, I can stand up from the driving position to get my winch cable.

2 things I concidered

1) thick enough
to trailer without
flapping in wind
2) good clamps
Super ATV ones
got velcro brackets
& I believe...from the ones
I seen..are 1/8"thick
while machine is idling
window...shakes

I use my half windshield during duck season when most of the riding is in wet stuff.
They create a vacuum in the cab and suck dust in. I take it off as soon as the weather warms up a little.

it's a full windshield when up and a half when the top section is folded down. UTV Windshields customizes it to fit whatever roof you have.
I chose the 1/4" scratch-resistant Lexan option for an additional $95 (total $295). Hood opens normally.
I think it's the best of both worlds. UTV website has an installation video.

Best functionality I've seen for a full windshield. Very cool.
Hinge is ugly as hell though, I'd paint it black.

I like the idea of having both options in one, but I do not like that line across my out front vision. Really don't know how it could be made without it though.
