Well my wife and I pulled the trigger on a 400 mile 2023 R.

We know very little about the sxs world but I have ridden sport quads for years.

Hoping to learn from the experience here on the forum.

Would like to know about any group rides in or around GA.

Also, not gonna be hill climbing or serious rock crawling, any “must haves” before we hit the trails?

Welcome from the once great state of Colorado.

I recommend a 1/2" Trail Armor skid - yes, expensive, but the first time you hit something that you didn't see, you'll be glad.

Check out these two threads to get yourself up to speed quickly -

welcome from Mississippi. There is a member here that lives just outside of Atlanta. He is gay and owns a Yamaflaw. He could help you out on some local rides. He goes by @Backwoods , careful don’t get too close!

Welcome from west Georgia. Pay no mind to Mopower. He’s a vagrant from CST who has a pack of inbred dogs that are addicted to peanut butter

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

Now I’m playing on google maps trying to find county roads I can use to get to work when the weather warms up!
Go to the build threads and see what you like. I would 100% recommend skid plates just for piece of mind. The rest is up to you.

Be warned, it gets costly but it’s LOADS of fun.

Welcome from the Vol State too.

Another welcome from Ga.
Congrats on the new buggy.
Durhamtown and iron mtn are decent day trips.
TN or Hatfield Mccoy for serious riding.
