P1000 Training Wires

Seems like the majority of my mods recently have been electrical. So under my hood looks something of a bird's nest. Coils of wires sometimes zip-tied when I can get away with it.
Behind my switch panel, there's another eyesore.

But then I see other members electrical areas look textbook.

Give me some tips.
What's your secret?

Tip=don't look at other peoples wiring. ;)
There's a reason I don't have but very few under hood pics.
