P1000 Work light power wires.

Installing the club store Work Light Trigger harness and have a few questions.
Are the power leads just for powering the backlight in the switch, Or are they to power the rear lghts when the key is off? And if so should I install a fuse as the factory fuse for the circuit is bypassed when in work light mode.

With this. It allows you to take the backup lights off the factory system if you wish. So it does need power to function.
Run both to your fuse box to a 5a fuse.
