Hi y’all, new to this forum.
I have a 2009 Honda MUV 700 I bought used a year ago, about 6,000 miles on it.
The problem is it runs fine, but after driving it it will quit moving, I just changed the oil and filter with Honda parts and Honda oil.
what should I expect when taking it to a dealer for service
Thanks for any information

Did it start this after the oil change?
Sounds low of oil. Check the oil level BY THE BOOK. Search under my name if you don't have instructions on how to do that. It's not the same as your old pickup.

If that checks out, I'd start with some oil pressure tests at the test ports.

And welcome to the club!

That's great, many didn't. It was a bad storm system. Be safe!

Thanks for your reply, i checked it on the engine,

The 700 series engine has 2 "line" pressure test points.
The engine oil pressure port is behind the solenoid cover and point upwards
The transmission port is next to the large "PC" solenoid and points towards the passenger side of the unit.

When it stops pulling what is the oil pressure at the transmission port? Spec is 114psi @ 5,000 rpm

If that is within spec after the machine quits pulling them we can assume the oil pump is ok and the screen is not clogged. The next step would be to see what pressure is reaching the first shift clutch when the machine stops pulling.
