Today my 2025 520 was running great until I tried to back up. I could not get into reverse. I drove a couple more miles and still no reverse. After it sat in the garage for a couple hours I tried it again and reverse worked like new. Any ideas what happened and what to do if it happens again.

Have you adjusted the reverse lockout handle out of existence yet? If not, I’d start there.

Clutch adjustment possibly but it usually rears it's ugly head between forward gears. Like Prez said, eliminate the reverse lever first, it's not necessary anyway. Also check your battery charge under load.

This is the type of belt Jerryg is referring to. He is the resident expert. He apparently helps others with their belt adjustments.

How do you eliminate this handle?

Given its a '25 why not take it to your dealer? It's a very simple adjustment but if you don't know or are uncomfortable working on your buggy I'd take it to the dealer......should be under warranty. Most guys would adjust to the point of "deleting" it, I never did because it didn't bother me. Do a search on it in the P5 forum and you'll find the info.

How do I fix it. I only have 600 miles on the machine. Can it be adjusted?

Ignore Jerry, he just the local retard..... your P5 doesn't have a belt

The dealer charges $100 pick up and $100 return plus the cost of the repair. So just a guess but this is a $400 job. That's why I try to do everything myself.
