Hatfield mccoy question

We are looking at going to hatfield and mccoy trails for the first time firt week of October, I was looking at a place in Maybeury does anyone know if that's a good area to stay and ride?

Which trail system of the HMT group are you looking to ride?

Also, is direct trail access important or are you planning to trailer to different trailheads?

I would like to start here in Kentucky and work my way outward if that's possible. Ride to an overnight destination with decent lodging and work my way back

Not all of the HMT trail systems are interconnected.

If you’re doing outlaw trails … you probably know way more than I do.

Looking at the southern trails. The trail heads are like a mile or two down the road so not looking to trailer. I will only have two full days to ride so don't want to do to much trailering

I stayed a couple of times in Crumpler, WV - a couple of trailheads were close - we rode some pavement to get to them - no trailering once we unloaded
