Hi guys. Just put some money down on a new 500 and want to make sure two adults fit ok. I’m 6’2 220lbs. Will myself and someone my size fit ok? Primary use is for hunting or the wife and kids to use around the house.

I'm 5'10" @220 and my shooting partner is 6'3" @200. No issues. I think you would have to be 7' or so before height would be an issue. I feel the P500 and for that matter the P1000 are unnecessarily high.

At 6' & 3 bills, this was my concern as well. My hunting partner is 6' & 2-1/2 bills (maybe a little more). We didn't want to feel like we were sitting on each other's lap. I bought 520 for 90%+ hunting. We are fine. Like we said, wouldn't do anything all day fun ride like this, but way more than adequate for hunting.

Thanks for your replies, sounds like it will be ok. The P500 is in a crate so I can’t sit in it. They’re so hard to find right now I pretty much needed to put money on it to claim it and sorta hope it fits...

I'll weigh in on this also (Ba-dum-TSCH!), at 5'9", 260, riding buddy is like 5'7", around 3 hundo. Lil bit of hip rubbing but its not bad. Like other's said, its more about the driver's long-leggedness that would be a problem.
Only other issue, is that while the passenger's seatbelt latch is nice and floppy loose, the driver's side belt latch is stiff as hell, so that can dig into your hip maybe?

I was originally looking at a Mule that was luckily taken by the time I got there. They showed me a P520 that was sitting in the crate with no ROPS or anything. It was nearly impossible to "feel" it for me as well. When I found another dealer with it assembled, I immediately went down and fell in love with it. Night & day difference.

As for hunting, every time I saw the much larger SxS's on the trail I stop & thank God I went with the little P520. Besides going almost anywhere tight, I couldn't imagine not having the super easy in & out access of the 500/520. I think you will be more than happy with it.

I'm a Fatsquatch at barely 5'8" and nearly 300 and have no trouble with any passenger I've had in the P5..

It is amazing that it seems bigger inside than looking at it from the outside.

YES, comfortably, Honda has done a great job making a small machine fit 2 people in comfort sitting upright. Amazed every time wife and I ride.

Absolutely. I'm 6'1 305lbs and I have a similar sized buddy and we can get in there without touching shoulders (while stationary) It worked out just fine on an 80 mile ride.

And you can do stuff like this with one (skid plate, winch, spacers, vent lines/snorkel .... otherwise stock) if you are crazy enough to play follow the leader...

OMG!!! I have never heard that one before, but with the same frame, you can bet I will have to use it lol.
Credit belongs to @Todd627 for coining that one on the forum if memory serves. I immediately asked for permission to use it when I first heard it as well. lol
