Was reading some of the chemicles to avoid around hard cote poly windows, skeeter spray included and am wondering if Rain-X will destroy it.

Any first hand experience?

This is a fairly new product, I found a handful of bottles at Wal Mart that had a hang tag on them from RainX says "try us for free" with a rebate of up to $5.99. So I picked on up and will give er a go.

What were the results of this test? I passed up on a bottle of this at Home Depot because it said to not use on clear plastics.

  2. Talon X
I’ve used regular rain x on mine and haven’t had any problems with it affecting the plastic hard coat. Just doesn’t last very long due to mud splatter and having to clean it.
Ive used regular on mine. Works great no issues to the plastic but just dosmt last long due to mudd and dust.
