P700 Under-hood Storage

If anybody is looking for storage containers for under the hood of their 700, Harbor Freight has some nice Pelican knockoffs. I bent some metal to make a shelf and fit an Apache 2800 case under the hood. It fits perfectly and is dust and waterproof. I just put some eye bolts in the plate, a bolt through the rear support and used parachute chord to hold it down.

Do you think that a second battery would fit under the shelf? Very nice work by the way, I like quality work.

Here's another idea for under the hood. This modular roll-up tool bag is a perfect fit. I used an 18" piece of EMT threaded through the straps on the bag, zip-tied to the steel bar at the top of the opening. Rhino bag available on Amazon and other places.
