Utah trip with our P5

We started from Canton, NC and drove non stop to just past Denver and camped on some BLM land just past Denver (somehow I drove a 1000 miles, stopping for nothing but fuel and restrooms) sweet free campsite where we rode some trails that evening. Then on to Moab, rode a day (loved it) then headed to marysvale where we rode 2 days. Beautiful place ! However didnt provide the more difficult trails we were looking for, so back to Moab for the rest of the trip. If Enterprise knew what I did with their truck they would be pissed haha.On friday, we took a dirt break and rented a canoe trip on the colorado river. 4200 miles on truck, 650 miles on P5 great times. Ive got tons of vids and pics I will be adding as soon as I can go through them. The misses was stoked to see where they "hucked" it in the movie Thelma and Louise. I am going to try and put pics in order of trip, but im not very tech savy.

Wish we had known you were there.. where did you stay? We camped up on Samd flats on the way out and then the way back.

We stayed in some free camp sites mostly (not sure of name, but by river). We did stay a few nights at slick rock campground on the northern edge of town for showers and a nice dinner at atomic grill (highly recommended) it dont look like much but dang good food, their buffalo meatloaf was delisish, and it was a easy walk from CG.

It was the easier one of the ones we seen. That one was pretty steep, but the other one.....shooooo crazy looking. I would have tried it if we were riding with others, but just us I was afraid of flipping and my little midge aint strong enough to help me flip the P5 back over lol. Took me like 30 minutes to navigate back out of hells gate, insanely steep. But whew what a rush ! The misses was screaming the whole way up.

She picked it up at the takeover lol. Ive only had to turn around and go back for it half a dozen times.

Just some clips, some of the fun stuff. I know very little about vid editing. Skid plate is worth every cent in Moab. Also had stock tires (to fit in 50" trails in Marysvale, didnt need them though) wish I had brought the big wheels and tires. They will be on there next year for sure.

Hells Gate....Right up to the point where I smashed the go pro. When you see the sun, the only thing that kept us from going over backwards was the trailer hitch. Handy piece of equipment lol. It took me a few attempts but made it out. Afterwards, watched a few wider machines(razors,etc) and it seemed a bit easier for something wider than 50". I aint gonna lie......Im a 6'4" big ole farm boy and I was scared as hell. The misses had her eyes closed for most of it.

No.... made 5 attempts at it and ended up going out the way we came in. Which was worse I think lol... Some folks from canada filmed us coming out and said we were crazy haha... I gave them my buisness card and they swore they would email me the vid but we will see.

It is in the Slick rock riding area. It was 5 bucks to get in, had hells gate, slick rock and tons of other sandy,rocky trails. We rode there 2 days and didnt see all the trails. Pretty sure we will be moving to moab with in the next few years.
