UTV bed rack

Anyone hauling their SxS on a rack in their bed? I have been looking at these for awhile and I have seen several in person. We have a TT and I would really like to take my 1000-5 on some camping trips. I only found opinions during my search, no real world feedback. I have a 2022 F450 so payload isn't even close to a problem. I would appreciate any feedback or pictures from actual users. Thanks!

Not sure If youll find too many? @100Acre was thinking of doing it with his new superduty with a flat bed. @tr005 has a f450 with a flat bed and was gonna try doing that But I remember when he and I looked, its a tight mo fo from end to end.
do u have links or pics of the ones you've seen?

Try messaging tr005. he has been on Sparingly the last few yrs. Had some personal things been dealing with. A message he will get an email. Hes a good guy.

Here is one example. I would rather secure it with Torq Lift tie downs though instead of relying on the in-bed tie downs.

I think my truck bed is too short and I don’t like the idea of putting so much weight up high. Also, I would’nt be able to use my truck camper

Not mine but I seen this a few weeks ago. I'm sure the bed on this dodge is a lot shorter than your 450.

Ya that's a Megacab, they have fairly short beds. I've been going back and forth on this for several months. Not sure it's worth it plus when we upgrade to a 5th wheel it will be worthless.

Your best bet might be a flat bed. I'd definitely feel better about that than having the pioneer sitting over the cab of the truck. I think the 1000-5 is 10' long. I have a 9' long flat bed on my 550. I would think 9' should be long enough but like Remington said it would be tight. I can't put it on mine cause I have toolboxes on the sides of the bed and a fuel tank on the front.
