P1000 Viper winch feedback

Looking for feedback on the Viper 6000lb winch. Looking at the wide elite and wondering if it will all fit behind the stock bumper. Also how do the rope winches work with snow plows? Lastly any reason to go with KFI over viper since I am using their 72" poly plow?

I heard rope is better in the winter. It won't rust and fray like the cable if you don't get the fairlead attachment. I would stick with viper. I think there is a decent price with @Hondasxs. It maybe another member. I can't remember. But I just ordered the viper max 5klb winch and 72 blade. Pretty excited to plow snow now.

Same here. After years of hating to do it on a tractor I am sure looking forward to it on the Pioneer.

I have a 6000# Viper Elite Wide spool with 65ft of Amsteel rope on my 1000.
It's mounted in a LE bumper and fits perfectly.

You will need a motoalliance mount plate also.
It's a beast of a winch.

Please Note: all VIPER 6,000lb winches will require drilling out of 2 holes on the mount plate to accommodate larger screws
