I’ve been studying the Internet my maps and atlases looking for places to ride when I came across this particular trail near Hawkins mountain. Looks like it has some possibilities.

you should hop over the border and come up and run the whipsaw trail.it's one of the top trails in canada.i've done it a couple times and it's outstanding.no permits,fees or restrictions.

You don't "have" to leave them in the states. Just don't get caught crossing with them.

you can make it to the trailhead in 2 hrs. from the border,depending on which crossing you use.the best part of the trail is it doesn't end.you can literally go for hundreds of kilometers in any direction.if you go north from the west end of the trail and head up to the vought valley there's even better trails,especially if you like speed.you don't really need guns.i carry my mossberg 500 but only use it for targets.
