I am not sure if anyone is aware of this. Sinclair offers dinopay. It is an app. You use your phone to pay for fuel. I use it for diesel, gasoline, and offroad diesel. It gives me 25 cents off per gallon evertime. I don't have to build up points, I don't have to make additional purchases. The only catch is that you have to download and register during certain times/promotions to get the best deals. I have had my 25 cents for a long time. I just signed my dad up last week and he was able to get 20 cents. The last catch is that it is connected directly to your bank account. No credit cards. I assume they do it this way to avoid card fees and pass savings on to you. If you are comfortable with that then sign up. My wife and I have used it forever and never had any issues. I will show my first ever reciept and my fill up from this morning. For privacy I have the station address blurred out on my reciept. So far I have successfully used it in Missouri and Nebraska. It has literally saved me hundreds. My wife and I fill up every week and probably save 10 or more dollars a week depending on how much we drive.

Yes. It requires location because it verifies your location before purchase. Basically it locates you to the gas station and then gives you ability to purchase. You have to be at the pump to buy otherwise it won't allow you to purchase fuel. You can set location permission to only be accessed during app usage. That way it's not locating in the background.

From what I can tell it seems to only use location.

Just put 48ish gallons of regular in the motorhome returning home from playing in the sand ( had to use the card three times ). Drove away $250 lighter in the wallet... of course that was only half the trip!
That doesn't include the premium gas for the Talon - burned thru 20 gallons over the weekend.

We dropped just below $4 per gallon for reg last week. Maybe foreign oil is finally going down a little. Heaven forbid we utilize our plentiful resources here…
