Would anyone share how they mounted the Wetsounds 6 in their 1000-5.
What type of clamp to attach to the 44mm ROPS, and how you wrapped the wires.

I attached mine to the roof. It's super strong and never vibrates.

I'll go find a picture of the mounting hardware in a moment.

Image Image I used Honda clamps and some kind of washer I had laying around I don't know what they are but they are tough and feel like vynal or some kind of hard rubber. They are about 1/2 in thick. Then I ran the wire down the passenger side ROPS to the accessory battery.

It hangs down just enough so the roof clamps don't hit it in case I ever wanted to take the top off

Thank you. Are you happy with the sound these produce?
Wanted something that sounded good, and would last, that can be moved if a sport model was released in the future.

The sound is very loud and clear but it's all mid and high range, no low end bass at all. The Wetsounds bar over all is great quality.

Here's a pic of the giant washers I found for the top. Not sure if they're needed to be that big.....

You got to ask yourself, what would you be gaining? With the six, I never have to turn it up to max because the Honda is so quiet.

I don't think the 10 Will have more bass. I would save money and add a sub if you want more sound. Another thing, it is a lot of weight up high with the 6 so I know the 10 will be heavy.
