P1000 What’s the biggest tire before you start rubbing fenders?

If you want all 4 tires to be the same also have to upgrade wheels really, 14x7 5+2 with 1’ spacers for the rear. I guess you could possibly put all the same size tires on factory wheels, not sure on that.

I run 30x10x14 Maxxis Rampage but also have SATV a-arms that move the front hub forward 1.5” and they still will rub. I’d say a 28x10x14 is your best bet overall.

28” tires are good I did Honda and they said I could go 29” but over that and it will mess up the transmission

Not true but I can see Honda saying that, many here with thousands of miles on 30’s without issue.

Looking for rims and tires on my Honda 1000 and wondering if I want a taller tire. what would be the tallest tire I could go with without rubbing?

I have 29x9x14 stags in front and 29x11x14 in back,no rubbing

There is very few 29 inch tires that won't rub. If you measure them im sure they are alot shorter than 29 inches. If they had a better standard for tire measurements, there would be so much less confusion.

I know I'm digging up an old thread, but have a 1000-5 deluxe on the way and want to put the Terrabites on it right away. Have them on my 700-4 and live them. Was looking at 29x9 front and 29x11 rears on the stock 14" deluxe rims no lift, no spacers, stock arms. Anyone run this?

just got my new wheels/tires mounted and put on last Friday. Tusk Teton's and System 3 XTR370's 28-10-14 all stock no rubbing
