Finally got my Super Atv a-arms and the heater installed. Also the RB3 door bushings!

Installed a floor mount gunholder. Haven’t ran the dirt roads and trails yet to test the sturdiness though. Wing nuts on the base for quick and easy removal of entire post.

Honda Pioneer / Talon Universal Floor Mounted 2 Gun Rack by Bad Dawg $179.95 through Everything Honda Offroad. The enclosure is the full ArmorTech Cab, Doors, Windshield, back glass, and top for both front and back. In some of my previous posts I explain my likes and dislikes with the ArmorTech cab. Overall, I really like it. My main complaint is the door windows are absolutely useless. They only slide open about 6 inches. My plan is to remove the entire window and have the frame fabbed to have a wing-glass and a removeable window with a storage sleeve on the inside door panel. I have sent pictures and explanations to ArmorTech but of course no response. I even had a dealer reach out to them and they said they have no plans in a redesign. The Honda enclosure has the roll up windows but not the hardened top and full glass windows. The glass windows are really nice and a good upgrade from the plastic. I'll update the review on my gun holder after a few trips to the woods.​

Added the SSS off-road skid plates to my 22 P1K5 Trail today. What a difference in thickness and coverage.
First picture is the difference in thickness between OEM and the new SSS off-road skid plates (3/8”) thick.
Second picture is difference in size of the outer skid plates, small one OEM, larger is the new added plate and it covers more area back toward the rear tires.
Definitely a huge improvement!👍

UPDATE:

Took a 30 mile trip this weekend on dirt roads, forests, new dozed ground, and several mountain trails and I was impressed with the stability of this gun mount. I put my Ruger 10/22 in one side and it kept it very secure and stabile. As with any mount like this, there will some shaking on rough terrain but it was very minor. From my first ride I would have to recommend. However, only time will tell. The only thing that I worry about is the floor is all plastic and I don’t know how that will hold up over time. The mount does have a steel plate that mounts from the underside but the underside of the floor is a mesh like design and as you secure the mount it squeezes the plastic mesh or waffle squares underneath. So, time will tell if I have to tighten the mount or if the plastic floor will continue to support the mount. All indications appear to be positive though.

Installed Honda soft mid panel. Had to modify for use with full Honda soft cab. The guys at the hardware store know me by name considering I'm in there at least once a week purchasing some sort of fastener. Yesterday one of the associates asked if I needed help and someone told them that I knew where I was going. Ouch! I suppose the only thing worse would being known on a first name basis at the liquor store. Thankfully I'm safe there
