@05Willys installed the push pins on both rear doors today but have yet to hog out the internal portals.

Question to you and any RKI: there are 4 molded standoffs on the inside of the rear color panel. Any adverse effect to fit & finish when fully opening up the cubby, especially under the standoffs?

At RRB for the week. Stuck it pretty good on trail 26, bent my upper driver door hinge pretty bad.

Followed that up with a broken upper a-arm bolt

We went down 26 one night and up it another night during the takeover and I had to winch 3 times. That's a fun trail unless you meet someone toward the bottom on those steep ass hills with no where to go. Thats why I like to ride it at night so you can see someone coming a long ways off.

If you look closely to the pics, the doors are cut out and by cutting the recessed area behind the color panel, it is not where the standoffs are. Hope this helps. 👍

Do they fit without modifications?
No, had to trim the dash about 1/4" around the stock holes. A little quality time with a oscillating saw and all's well.

I washed it today, added a bit of Old Glory to the doors and finally got around to exploring under seats, under the bed lift and under the fenderwells to see what was there.

I'll be adding the word "Freedom" to the hood above where it currently says "Isn't Free" right now. I peeled off the word Fun (from the previous owner) to make room for FREEDOM. B20d334eca36a813f7c86270d7fefe76A6d24bbbd94da0d4e77030e4003ab8ec58a96f727724cdfab70693e324de9970

I added rear lights. I was worried about how to run the wires up to the switch panel, but it was rather easy. They go down the right rear ROPs and under the dump bed to the driver side and I followed the existing wires under the seat and under the drivers foot well.

I used the zombie light switch, because you need rear lights to see the zombies when they’re chasing you.

Did the 100 mile service today. "Liquid gold" all throughout. To answer a question from another post, yes Amsoil does smooth out the dct shifts. Still clunks a little but less noticeable.
