went sniffing around the stealership today to see if my camso tracks were in,really i was just a little bored and had a touch of cabin fever, saw they had some new 2020 p1k's in.have to say the new brown colour is really fugly.the '20 green rubicons looked pretty sweet tho.also picked up a small roll of carbon fiber wrap.planning on installing a round marine stereo like i did in my boat.plan to drill the holes for the head unit and a couple switches, drill out the rivets on the dashboard warning plate, wrap it and install the stereo/switches and pop it back on with some black anodized bolts instead of rivets..https://www.amazon.ca/Ignition-Rock...307&s=gateway&sprefix=rocker+,aps,215&sr=8-69

Added a S&W model 29 & 629 to plink a little. Ran some 300 grain hardcast flat nose that are a little on the hot side, & a couple of them made it through about 8" of wood.

.....then got stuck

If I had it to do again. I'd use push pins wherever I could. I used them exclusively on the front.
I also used a heat gun on the rear flaps so the rear doors have no issues.
Hope this shortens my cleanup time.

I added some dynamat to the back side of the seat bottom and also added a merino wool sheep skin to the bottom seat cushion. I have ridden thousands of miles on my GW with the wool covers and they feel cooler and offer added cushion. I think this should eliminate any heat through the seat bottom that I feel. It slide under the two straps. Now if I could find my fuzzy dice.

I have to say I'm totally impressed with the quality of Honda's air box and clean air plenum.
Last weekend we went for a 75 mile in the high desert. The dust was mostly unbearable the whole ride. All the family and wheeler were covered in heavy dust all day long. I was sure the air filter and clean air plenum would be choked with dust..
To my surprise; removing the filter was butt simple, taking only a few minutes. But the best part is the filter still looks pretty new inside and out and the plenum or airbox interior, was spotless.

Finally got around to adjusting my steering wheel so it’s not pointing at 2 pm when going straight. Popped the cover off and saw the brake nut was on the threaded column just enough to barely engage the nylon. Was just about off. Probably would have if the center cap wasn’t there. So with the nut barely on, there was about one inch of play if you pulled up on the wheel.

I understand this is supposed to be a dealer checked item for quality control. Like someone else posted, the dealer sales person drove it up on my trailer so I didn’t notice the issue until 2 days later. This dealer was one of those high volume places with much lower prices than any of my local dealers. Now I know why.

Other than that issue I am so glad I bought the 1000-5 deluxe.
Next are full skids, winch, windshield, and rear view mirrors.
