Damn!! Well in my defense I don't think I've ever towed it at that heat index....🤔.....I don't think I've hit triple digits while towing so yeah I can see how that would be an issue.

Only issue we've had with heat is I've noticed my buddy's buggy his roof started to cave in a little bit one time at the very center right behind where it "puddles". It'd been sitting out for 2 days in the hot south FL summer heat when we noticed
Good quality roof, though.
Cheers!

What is the total height on the terrabites? My oem bighorns measured only 25.5". My new blackwaters measure 28". Both measurements taken mounted on the machine
26 3/4" to 27" . The Terrabites run small for a 28". My 900 mile, 2nd set Bighorns are about 26.5"

I was going to go 29"..terrabites.

But since I have an I - 4wd , I was scared Smitty would have to pull me out :confused:/ jk.

I hauled rock out of the creek today. NOTE TO SELF - "It's too wet to haul rock out of the creek." I did get to try out my SATV winch for the first time though. Took me 3 separate pulls to finally get up the hill. Winch works great, very pleased with it's
performance

I'm kinda curious, what would be the definitive answer be with the terrabites, if you want a 27" tire go with 28's?

28's get you about 27".
29's probably are closer to 27 - 28.
The 30's probably also run small.

I also considered weight

Wow, I like the tread design and the fact that they are DOT approved (I run a lot on pavement) but that is way off. It reminds me of buying jackets off the web that are in Chinese sizes, like their XXL equals our L. So if I bought them in a 29 would I have any issues with the stock setup?

(I'm running the stock a arms with 814 shocks. l needed to get a little more ground clearance and didn't want to change a arms or buy new rims. l gained 2" overall. I searched all over if the 29's would clear and couldn't find anything except everyone said that the terrabites run small, so I tried them. At 8psi they measure 28" high. And it definitely changes your ratio. So, if you want a different tire, I would stay with a 28" just to be safe. Let me know what you end up with!!!)

l sent this to Dirtstiffs-1000 a few weeks ago. I still haven't had a rubbing issue and they're so much quieter on the road. And at 12psi they're still 28" tall My only complaint is that they seem to flat spot after sitting for a short period of time, but it doesn't take long to get rid of that.

I'll have to do that, thanks man! I'm looking forward to them, probably sometime iIn the summer. I wonder if I can burn up the stock ones by then... 🤔 I give the stock tires some credit, they are taking longer to wear out than the bighorn 2.0's I had on my ranger. The fronts got ate up quick.🙄

The more I think about it the more I need. Two pistols, long range rifle, short range rifle, brush gun, all hell breaks loose gun, shotgun, shotgun with attitude... Hell there's seven right there. :D
Plus your favorite BFG makes eight . . .

(Mine were lost in a boating accident, so I might need to borrow.)

I have two moving blankets with ratchet straps stitched across at tie points. I put one across the windshield from the roof to the hood, then snug the other one across the front bumper and up to the windshield. It keeps rocks from dinging my machine and blocks the wind that will lift the roof. My machine's not here or I'd send pics. Will try to circle back.
