Hey everyone I know we all take great care of our Pioneers and as winter is almost over I know a lot of us are going to be loading them on our trailers for some spring and summer riding trips. Don't neglect easy preventative maintenance on trailers. For some time I was hearing some rattling while pulling Pockets out west. I'm planning on another trip and decided to give my trailer a once over to find the source of the rattle. Now the trailer pulled good but I think I avoided a definite road side break down. Check your trailers my friends!

Glad you found this before another trip. Good reason to check every component of a trailer axle before traveling. The experience of a roadside breakdown is not a fun time!

I wish. The equalizer was about $40 bucks. I also bought new bolts, hangers and sleeves. Close to a hundred. Way cheaper than braking down on the freeway. I'll have to replace the other side soon as I can see a few of those bolts are bent.
Got to agree with that.

I just did one back here for a customer. The rocker trunion/equalizer with bushings were $16, drop links/shackel links $8., new bolts with lock nuts $2.40. Priced per piece, Dexter bulk parts not a kit. 5200# set up.

So (2x16)$32+(4x8)$32+(10x2.40)$24= $88 + tax. So about the same.

Great Job !!
