I've tried them all and came up with this, which I think works great, as long as you don't need a center seat for 3 people. What I did was mounted a V grip stock holder, a very common atv item, on the bar that is just above the rear of the seat. That is where your butt of your stock will sit. Then I used a round pvc plumbing cap and screwed(or glued)it into the recessed area on the dash. You insert your barrel end into the pvc cap and drop the butt of the stock into the V. It holds your rifle with the scope down. It is cheap to do, makes your rifle very accessible, and with 2 people it is not in the way. Been using it for a year now and love it. Your rifle does not move around at all, even in rough terrain. People that see it and have Pioneers go with this and also love it.

Newbie from Va. here. Just joined the Pioneer club after many years of working on my Polaris Ranger. I have a 2021 Pioneer 1000-3 which will be used mostly around the farm and hunting. Can you guys tell me what best option is for a gun rack? I've seen the overhead racks and m not keen on them? Others?? Thanks in advance, 163bc
Hi Newbie from Virginia, I found Kolpin Stronghold gun boot and Kolpin Stronghold with autolatch mount system to be the best thing for my rifles, I have one set up to be able to mount on the outside of my roll bar on the driver and passenger sides, they mount quickly with 2 u bolts per mount, so 4 nuts and it is installed and then all you do is stick the Stronghold boot in the mount and it locks onto the quick release autolatch, very slick and easy. The largest boot they make will take up to a 55 inch long rifle I if I remember right, I have to remove my bipod on a long range rifle or one of my AR rifles but other than that they are deep enough for most of the other accessories we have. The boot itself is super protective and has a zip up rifle case inside the outer boot so double protection. Check it out I think you might like it. Good luck on your hunt.

I did something a bit different that I haven’t seen. Used koplin grip style mounts and fab-ed a pvcmount. Rides “center shotgun”. This is on a p500.

Blac-rac is the route I went, pricey yes but secure and I have been through a lot of rough terrain with no issue. I also use the Seizmik mount in the middle seat.

My Pioneer and Defender. Also did the same 4"x1" cross member on my 22 pioneer. A little more work since I bolted that one to the bed cross members

Best of luck !
