We got the super winch Tera 45 for my fathers pioneer for $188. It came with everything needed. But it was steel instead of synthetic rope. Still a dang good price though.

I'll take it apart and see if I can't seal it with RTV, if it's not weatherproof what's the point?

I had a KFI Stealth and that sucker was weatherproof. I pressure washed it a lot.

I have the Superwinch Terra 45 - S...been pleased so far! I got mine off Amazon when they ran them on sale. If you can wait, you can save $60 or so.

Took it apart looks to be sealed well enough I put black rtv on mating surfaces outside the o-ring seals. I'll check it in 6 months or so.

If you wait a little bit it will go back on sale. I found it cheaper to buy the steel and put an aluminum fairlead and synthetic rope on it than to buy the SR version.
