P500 Wheel offset

New owner Newfoundland, Canada.
I come to realize that dealers have no clue on wheel offset. Trying to find a 5/2 wheel and they measure 3/4 . Dealer tells me those are the ones. Shouldn't you get 5 inches to the bead to hub face??
Can I put 26/9/12 on all corners of OEM wheels? I want to stay as narrow as I can.

you are correct, if you were to lay the bare wheel on the floor face up and measure down through it, a 5+2 should measure about 5" to the hub face (I think for exactly 5" it would be from the hub face to the inner lip at the bead).
