I mean 14”x 9 tires in front or 14”x11?

you want the 9 in the front for light steering and the 11 in the back gives you more traction, especially with one like that sidewall

Race Line wheels, you can get 6+1 for the front and 5+2 for the back off set rims and you will be stock width front and rear with no spacers and I run the EVO Black Waters also, good tires, no pinch flats on this set 1800 miles of trails. These tires you can run at 0 PSI to get back to camp.
This above post is correct a 5+2 in the front with make you 66” wide. 4+3 will make you 68” wide.
A proper front wheel is 6+1 offset to 64” wide. Remember stock front wheels are 6.5” wide, not 7” like most aftermarkets.

Got them put on today. Your right, little harder to steer up front. Gonna run them a while and see how I like the front. If it bothers me I’ll drop down to 9 in the front and sell the 11s.

might not be that bad with eps, playing with the pressures helps some too

What psi do you run? Came with 10psi in tires.

i think 7 and 9 but its the 700 and I got 9/11x12inch rim, generally when I get new aftermarket tires I see what the dirt looks like on the tire. middle only is too much air sides only is too little but if you are wanting it to turn better you will have to make it a bit harder in the front

Plan B. Got 2 27x9x14 tires ordered for front, which I should have done in the first place. Gonna put those on the front and see if I like the steering better.

If your going with 27/9 front fires you should go with 6+1 offset front wheels.

not a great comparison but, my 100lb daughter doesnt have any problem driving the 700 without eps and a pretty soft pressure to help with the tough ride they have with the 27x9. seems to handle pretty decent when im driving it fast in the woods, what i like about the tire most is that and the traction compromise you have to make

also mention one thing when i put the bigger tires on, made me notice how bad the toe was, you could tell they where out in the front , thats few inches if you can see it without measuring. i set it like 1/8th inch narrower in the front, this is where all the bikes ive had like it for handling. not sure if the 1000s too but a ton of 700 people have said its way out on here

I think I’m happy. Put 27x9x14 tires on front and took rear 1” spacers off. Got a set of rear spacers for sale and two 27x11x14 mudlite 2 for sale if anyone is interested.
