No, this is not a fast pace ride, very rocky and slow. It's only a little over 10 miles to the cave from Coalmont OHV parking lot. Fastest I've done it is under just under 2.5 hours (one way). It's normally a 7-8 hour ride there and back with a decent sized group. Once you get outside Coalmont park, it's mostly river beds your riding in. February, March and April there will likely be quite a bit of water in the creeks and some may be very deep/swift.
20 miles round trip in 7-8 hours... So how rocky are we talking here? P5-able?

There's only a couple spots that will be difficult, all the other rocks are just constant punches to the kidneys for hours, it's fun!
Perfect description of riding Coalmont

The AC cave is awesome. I had to go in and out twice because @Frogtown is retarded and got stuck in the very back of the cave after I'd made it back out the first time...

Lot of cool stuff to see out there. The "park"" wasn't open yet when we were there last time but it looks like they've added a good bit of trails on that end.

That looks awesome in pictures so I can imagine it is even better in person. Adding it to my list of must sees!

I drove a P5 there in 2017. I didn’t own it a week later. I have witnesses, Joey, Richard, Delton etc. I pulled off called the dealer and dropped it off and picked up something else 4 days later. It was miserable, damaged a lot of stuff.
