Who’s still Rocking an Old school Ride

I can’t be the only one still riding one of these. I got an 86 Big Red that I swear I put more miles on than the Pioneer. It’s my go to for Baiting, moving trailers, getting firewood, and pretty much everything in between! Any of you guys relate? Any pics of some of the old rides still out there?

I’m rocking an ‘85 Big Red and an ‘87 350 4x4. Both solid runners. They won’t win a beauty contest but they’ll get you home every time!

Like the tread idea to show older rides over years past. Had to sell many to upgrade over years, but still ride the 1996 Polaris 400. 1965 Honda Dream first was bike with clutch, 13 years old dirt rider, $50, then had newspaper route to upgrade to a new 1973 Honda SL 70. Proud day for a kid! Love the P500 at 60!

Sorry to hijack a sxs thread with 2 wheels..Was traveling down Hwy 72 in Cornith, MS, stopped by to price SxS and found a bike museum inside a small dealership (pics). Had a blast finding old bikes owned. Barber Museum in Birmingham also a must see if you like 2 wheels.

I had an old timer tell me I was spoiled by the 86 because of the nice suspension... lol

I wish I still had my Bamshee’s, xt500, or YZ400.

Riding that Big Red makes me think debates on heat and power steering are pretty insignicant!

Thanks, Monte! They don’t get much exercise these days because the Pioneer takes the brunt of the load. I do love getting out on the Big Red once in a while, takes me back to my roots.

Those are cery cool @Mudwing. I spent a little time on 3, they are very different from anything else. Tried following a buddy that had lots of time on em and I realized quickly how bad I was. He could get around so much better.

Rode a few 350s. That solid front axle beat the crap outta me lol. Solid machines though

My first dragbike was an 88 cbr1000f. 4" arm, 1049 kit, 39mm keihin fcrs, 40 shot of nitrous. Fast bike for its age. I still got couple framed pics of me on it at Memphis dragstrip.
